72 Road Runner body side stripe

A few years back I had picked up a set of front fenders for my 72 Road Runner and I always wondered about the white stripe package on the fenders. I have never seen a 72 with that type of stripe. I would like to know if this was a factory option or added by a previous owner.

Boxing in rear deck speakers ?

I do not know about that. But, what I do know is my 007 pickup, has a powered sub woofer and two big speakers behind the seats. The seller did not know they were there, and neither did I. A large fuse and some tuning by the stereo guy and I can make a lot of noise. The speaker specs should give...

Looking to build a 440. Got a couple options on Blocks.

Bare blocks out here in lefty land are $300 and up. Some complete rebuildable units $850 and up. Since you're not date code matching, just about any of the 440's would be fine and dandy for you. As mentioned, a 400 is another. Don't forget to factor in the machine shop cost to as mentioned...

    PCV valve hose goes???

I bought a new PCV valve. The rubber grommet in tne rocker cover was getting a bit hard. So I had to pound on the valve to get it in place. My left hand has just got rid of the scar tissue from where I whacked it with the hammer. My Tukvan also has a long tube entering the forward part of the...

    Torx WTF

About that time period. The very first one I encountered was on a GM headlight. Customer came in and needed it replaced and I had to skip out to the local parts store for a torx head driver that I didn't have.
