what would cause the tranny to shift at 4500 wot most of the time and won't downshift at a higher rpm but the weird part is every once and a while it would upshift at more of a normal 5200 rpms. tranny was rebuilt and the line pressure was turned up a little. kickdown is adjusted all the way.
someone has a set of ported heads he calls them stage 3 and the stage 4 he calls race heads. would the stage 3 hurt bottom end power. still has the 2.08 1.74 valves. only have 2.94 gears and 2200 stall converter.

My opinion for entertainment purposes only. My 67 RT with manual steering even if it had power steering. if you bought a new RT or GTX back in 1967 the car would handle better than most mid size cars back then. just think if they had radial tires and gas shocks handling would be a great deal...

had the old timer Charlie at PTC converters build me a 11" 19 spline. told him i want like 2200 rpm stall like the 383 11" factory converter with positive fin bend. came out perfect very happy. not sure about the longevity of it. 365.00 shipped.
I just had my 67 RT manual steering to the alignment shop because it was toed out and wandering like crazy at high speeds. now it goes very straight and no wandering steering and the wheel is straight.the tire will squeal sometimes around a corner and the wheel does not come all the way back to...
what would be a good tire pressure ? coronet rt 215/70 r-15 with radial tires and manual steering. I need easy steering and leaning towards a soft ride. They used to say more air in front tires for better handling not sure if that is true.
the cone shape bumper stops on the bottom of the upper control arm when do they come into play ? there about an inch away when the car is not jacked up. do they come into play on small bumps, big bumps, stopping or hard turns ?
I took the Chrysler elec dist out and put in a different dis with a pertronix unit. there was the power red wire going to postive of the coil and then a another wire coming out of the harness can't see where it is coming from but have been spliced into. but it has no power when the key is on...
