'69 Hemi clone Road Runner, auto trans., no power brake booster. I have looked at some photos, but can't see what I am looking for. Are there wiring holders for the positive battery cable and wiring back to the firewall and starter? Not talking about the snap in one's for the driver's inner...
Looking for a ballpark weight of my Hemi RR. Switching from a 4-speed to automatic. Street car. Tubbed, not back haved. Dana 60, ladder bar coilover. Tubular front suspension coilover, manual rack and pinion. Roll cage, 2 factory buckets. Drag star wheels. Aluminum radiator. The...
Asking here, though this is for street. I may be changing out my 4-speed for an automatic because of a shoulder injury. Mildly built Gen 11 Hemi. I have a trans picked out from Coan, Kokomo, IN. They suggested a derale trans cooler with fan. So I found the #13720. Is this adequate...
Does anyone here know how to email DMT? If so, what is is their address. I can not figure their site out and all of their excuses for you fill in the blank. Have tried to call, they don't want phone calls. Tried to get in by account, won't recognize my password and just chases me around and...
Can the rubber seal on a pop out window be replaced without taking the frame work apart? These windows fit terrible, no matter what I do to try and seal them. Maybe the orginal seals have shrunken. What a poor design. My car has orginal 1/4's.
This inserted, '69 Plymouth Road Runner, 2...
I am in need of one of these. Car is a '69 Road Runner coupe with pop out rear side windows. There are two of these on the post right in front of the pop out window.
Just made this, don't know if it's offered somewhere. Didn't like the feel of a crows foot. Now I have to do the 90°/180° figuring thing. It's 2 " center to center.
Gen ll Hemi scattershield, where do I get one? I have heard or rather read the horror stories about old Lakewoods, and Quick time. Would rather do linkage vs hydraulic. I have the 11" clutch and 142 or 3 ? tooth flywheel . Has Quicktime straightened their issues out? I know, these 2 are...
Is this heaterbox thermostat available anywhere? I am going to epoxy the phenolic board back together, pretty sure that I can salvage it. Just wondering if it's available.
'69 RR, non A/C.
I rebuilt my heater box about a year ago. Wrapping up dash work last night I powered things up. Heater motor doesn't work. Has power, looked through my FSM, can't seem to find the motor, it does ground through metal heater back that is mounted to the firewall ? Guess that I have missed...
Big block Mopar is new to me, always dealt with small block, and it's a Hemi. So just discovered this in my '69 FPB. Looks like I installed the crankshaft oil slinger on the wrong side of the timing gear chain. On a 383-440, it looks like the cup side facing forward and front of timing...
What would be an acceptable sealant to lock the screw in oil pick up tube? Mine is not tight when it is in its proper location. Going another 330 degrees around isn't really going to work either, well, it could, but, the short block assembly, timing cover and water pump housing are all in...
Anyone here using the Mancini MRE 220 rear main seal? I have read a gazillion post on rear main seals, and unless I am misinterpreting the advice, I am more confused than confident about installing one. So I bought the Mancini MRE 220, no directions. Watched a video from Mopar Connection...
Going through the Hemi engine in a car that I bought earlier this year. The oil pump is a HI Volume, but do not know what brand, only numbers on it are USA and 18. The rotors are rough from debris passing. What Melling pump should I get? The HV or HP? This is a street car, roller cam...
No rust, sevicable parts seem good, struts could use new rubber bushings. I believe that the k-member is for a big block, has Schumacher mounts for a Gen ll Hemi.
$500. OBO. Not shipping, but can deliver to Stillwater swap meet in Minnesota.
