Is there a consensus as to whether or not the blower motor from a car off the assembly line was painted black or silver on b-bodies (GTX if it matters) with A/C in 1969?
My 69 GTX came with fender mounted turn signals, but they were left off during a restoration. Is there a template or dimensions I can use to accurately locate them on the fenders?
Hi - I have a '69 GTX with A/C - I tried to remove blower motor from the engine side. I removed the three 7/16 nuts and discovered the fan is larger than the motor housing.
There is a "ring" of sorts around the blower motor that the bolts holding blower motor - it has 3 small 1/4" screws...
My restoration continues. I'm in need of a factory dipstick tube and dipstick for a 1969 440 GTX. Or, does anyone have the correct p/n's for both? This dipstick tube is the curved tube that has the dipstick handle on the outside of the exhaust manifold, not next to the valve cover. Thank you.
My car starts harder after sitting for a few days or a week. It fires off instantly after its been started, but the longer it sits, the harder it is to start. You have to pump it 20+ times while cranking. It will finally start, then the rest of the day, fires instantly. " FB experts all claim...
I'm looking for a source for an accurate temperature sensor for my 69 GTX 440. Needs to be 80 to 100 ohms cold, 20ish ohms at operating temp. I bought one at Napa thinking it would perfect, but it's 500 ohms cold and 150 ohms at 180, it won't even make my gauge move.

Could someone with a correct restoration on a 69 GTX/Road Runner show me the correct bracket location and routing of the positive battery cable from the starter to the battery? Thank you.
