Used Summit Action +Plus Aluminum Intake for a 318 a good buy?

I found one for sale and wondered if the group knowledge has an opinion on that piece for my 1969 Coronet 318? From some searching it appears it’s a rebrand of Weiand’s intake but I could be wrong.

Is this insanely cheap or a scam for upper ball joint?

I looked online and stumbled across this, under $4 each for Moog.

SOLD Bucket seats most likely mid 70s Dart/Duster with sliders. $500 obo

Located in Salinas, California. These seats came in my 1969 Coronet, but they were not original to it, best guess is they came from a mid 70s Duster or Dart. Its up to the buyer to figure it out, they are usable as is but need reupholstering/resto. I put cheap seat bottom covers on them just for...

Thicker rimmed and grippy steering wheel in same diameter as stock manual steering wheel

So while manual steering worried me a bit when I got my 69 Coronet, it turns out it’s not bad at all. I’m even considering a 20:1 box from pst, but I would like a thicker rim for a better grip compared to stock and I don’t want to use some kind of cover. Any ideas that don’t cost an arm and a...

What's it Worth Mystery bucket seats, I suspect from a Dart or Duster

I've installed some new seats and want to know if its worth trying to sell the mystery seats that came with the car. Even if they aren't worth much money I'd feel bad throwing them away if there is a local person who had been searching for that exact seat. So anyway sliders work, they are kind...

    Delayed reaction accelerator pump?

I did some tune up stuff today and noticed the accell pump seems to be delayed when I move the throttle, if I manually move it while giving it throttle the response is much better. You can see it in the short vid below, the delayed part is seen right at the beginning. Is the pivot point supposed...

Is this the correct backseat for my 1969 Coronet?

EDIT: Fixed the title, had 1960 when it is 1969. The back and the bottom cushion do not seem to match, I'm wondering if at least one of the pieces is correct for the car and could the two work together if I bought an off the shelf kit to reupholster them.

Repro brake lines on the axle or just buy generic from parts store?

Hopefully the weather will let me do the rear brakes on my 69 Coronet with an 8.25 read diff next weekend. I'm anticipating the worst, which is the line getting damaged where it meets the wheel cylinder when I try to remove it, so I want to be prepared. The rubber line is new but the metal lines...

Well I bought one of the most 1970s things for my Coronet, an AM/FM/CB

Just when I was about to give up on finding something that seemed era correct to me (and I wasn't gonna spend the crazy money for a stock radio) I came across this. It's missing the mic but hopefully its a standard plug. Sold as untested but lights up, I usually have good luck with vintage...

Well this may be a stupid brake question: where to measure to determine if I have 10 or 11s?

First the questions and then the long story :p This is a 69 Coronet 440 with barely any options. Non power drums all around. 1) Where do I measure to determine if I have 10 or 11s? If I measure the outer edges of the drum I'll easily be at 11. Do I measure there or across the inner drum...

FOR SALE 1984 Dodge Daytona Turbo $500obo - runs and yard drives - Salinas, Ca.

Description: I haven't completed the car in all these years so it needs a better home, it has California non-op so no fees. I started and drove it into this spot a few months ago, prior to my big plans I drove it normally around or out of town, only serious issue I ever had was the ignition...

    Water leaks

I didn't expect it to rain last night and around 1AM it started pouring, so I checked the car once the sun was out and found.......a trickle. Buuuuut it trickled where the floor was rotted out, probably decades of that trickle making the carpet moist did the damage. So anyway I grabbed a...

    Cats

We have a long dog thread but I haven’t seen one for cats. I’m in a weird position where I would happily live without any animals but I’ll help or feed whichever ones come my way. So I may look like a cat/dog/insert_species_here guy but I’m more of a ‘oh you poor mofo’ guy. Anyway besides the...

How noticeable should the 2-3 shift be in regular driving.

This is for what I’m pretty sure is a 904 behind a 318. I can’t feel the 2-3 shift in normal driving, I know it is going into 3rd based on pulling it into 2nd manually and that difference I felt. Just seems imperceptible compared to what I’m used to. Normal? Need a band adjustment?

Not sure which diff I have, I I think an 8.25?

After looking around and even finding an image with an ID chart I'm still not quite sure what I have. The amount of bolts on the cover is correct but the image doesn't really match, can someone confirm? The ID chart: What I have: I'd like to figure out what the potential is for this diff...

What's it Worth 1969 Coronet RT (I think) tail light valance

This came mounted my car and there are styling elements I like but some I don't and I was thinking I would modify it. Before I screw it up I figured I should find out if its worth much or even if its not worth much maybe its a piece someone has been on the look out for. I'd feel bad nonchalantly...

Well at least I got to drive it a day before the water pump started to leak.

Yesterday was the first day I really drove around town to start shaking out issues and it went great! So great that I took it to cars and coffee this morning, and right away someone pointed out a leak. It looks to be coming from behind the water pump pulley so I think the writing is on the wall...

Did my 1969 Coronet come with the wrong master cylinder installed?

The MC is leaking a bit so I'm trying to order the replacement, whats on the car now has the wire spring thing to hold the top on, but the ones I find for my car at Oreilly's. Autozone, RockAuto and Classic Industries all have a bolt on top. My car is manual drums all around, if what I have is...

What's it Worth 14 inch steelies that came with my 1969 Coronet.

I have no idea if these are correct for the car or worth anything. Any ideas? The tires hold air and have good tread but are old and starting to crack around the tread so no value in them other than to roll a project car around.

    1969 Coronet glove box spring?

I spent a few hours yesterday doing electrical work and propped the glovebox up not realizing it’s supposed to stay up until I saw a video with another Coronet today. Does anyone know what I’m missing? The door is in the dash and the hinge swings freely but I can only guess I’m missing a spring...
