Heya, I'm not going to be able to find the time to finish putting my engine back together and into my '67. Can anyone suggest a reliable rebuilder who can get it all back together and put into the car for me? The engine is mostly arleady put together; it needs the lifters, heads, water...
Does anyone know of a worthy engine rebuilder in the Sarasota, FL area? My 340 needs some work; it's already out of the car, but I've only lived here for a few months and I don't know any good car folks yet.
I guess I should include the St.Pete/Tampa area, since it's pretty close.
Oh, the final intent is to just have a nicely performing dependable driver. Nothing for the track, nothing for show, just a little bragging rights (it IS a 340, afterall) and a lot of dependability around town.
I've seen plenty of books for rebuilders, but I was wondering if any one particular is recommendable.
And I plan to post a few pictures IF I can get them off my dying laptop. I forgot to back everything up on the Web.
