I have used the wiper main feed on many 1406 edelbrock conversions when customer do not want to fiddle with the holleys no more. When the wipers quit working the fuse is blown and now you look for electric choke problems. Has always been simple. I thank the op for the info.
I just found a old spring with a little more ark and cut off the main leaf and added to my spring pack. That was fourty years ago. If you are determined it will happen.

In my day the guys with 3.23 gear were usually quicker that the 3.55 or 3.91 guys. The 3.23. were rapped up in second gear and the 3.91 guys were lugging along in third for the last half of the quarter. Now 4.56 word well, but then you needed slicks.... This was my experience..
pinion snubber has always worked for me. Also don't forget the shocks. Poor shocks can amplify all problems in this area. Your ride height does not look that far off..
We are trying to help you but are getting mixed messages on what is going on. This should not take 40 post to get to the bottom of the problem Post 1 and 33 said that the brakes release when the bleeder is cracked. After any stop the brakes are usualy to hot to touch... You justify all...
If you crack your brake line loose at the master cylinder and the wheel frees up it is not a hose, shoes draging or bearing asjustments, it is a master cylinder not releasing. Usually bad rod adjustment or rubber cups inside swelling up and not letting fluid return.

Careful on advice you get on the internet. Some of the guys here are very smart and others do not know the way up.... Heaven forbid if you hook up a MSD ignition control to your alternator for a voltage regulator. I would love to see the results. :):)
