to answer #3 , it won't fire because the coil is not being tripped by the ECM to fire . that's why I told you about dabbing the other jumper wire on the neg side of coil to ground to fire the coil .
Just for information , does your engine sort of grunt like it wants to turn over when you turn your key off? If it does that , it's the ECM. What you are doing when you turn the key off is acting as the transistor in the ECM.
