Got block cleaned up a little better and got casting date of 11 7 63. I would think that would be right for a build date in January of 64.

I've recently acquired a 65 Belvedere II 426 street wedge car. The seller was very confident that it had the original motor. The car has a build date of November 12 1964. In looking at the engine stamp pad it reads, V 42 1 3. That would mean a engine build date of January 3 64. I was curious...
