Wheels have sone light surface rust , not bad.

Tires are copper cobras and great shape low miles.

Yes, pull the motor mount bolt on the side you need to lift and loosen other side bolt . It should swing up enough to pull header.
Have someone up top watching clearance on other stuff while jacking from below. A block of wood on jack placed slightly over to the side you want to lift
Yes the alternator is internally regulated.
Just don't know if when I get to the start up point , if not having the above wiring connected, if the car will start?
It's a complete MSD system, box, coil, distributor, one wire internal regulated alternator.
Obviously the ammeter won't work anymore , I think this is a stand alone system, , just not sure if some wires need to be connected to make a full circuit or not??
Hi, I've installed an. MSD system on my 440engine 19 68 coronet. A one wire alternator too.
I Have yet to try to start car.
I plan to use the old positive coil wire for the key on power of the MSD 6AL box.
My question(s) are , what do I do with the old wiring connections for the old voltage...
Looking For a 68 Coronet Black Ashtray. This one does not have cigarette light built in , its just a padded cover that slides up and down. Thanks for any help
