I bolted it up so tight motor wont turn took the bellhousing off and grinded the the area where it was hitting it spins fine now was just worrying about how much clearance I need there
runout is good transmission goes in fine I talked to ray barton who built the motor he never came across that and told me to get in touch with Lakewood and yes its a new setup
I have a 540 hemi it’s a Chicago connection block with a 143T flywheel and Lakewood bell housing problem is the flywheel is hitting the top of bell housing anyone ever come across this issue
Your right I’ve saw pictures on the web with the 90 degree setup just can’t fine one maybe they custom made them up emailed a photo to Mancini racing they are going to look into thanks for the feedback
I have a 528 hemi with edelbrock carbs trying to keep it looking original inline tubing made me a set of the original 3/8 carb lines the problem is I cant find a 90 degree elbow for the rear carb I saw a lot of photos with that set up anybody have any ideas where to find one
