What is involved in swapping from the original trunnion style setup to a slip yoke on a 65 b-body? I am helping my Dad do an auto to 4 speed conversion and from I am reading the trunnion style 833 is not necessarily the best way to go. Thoughts and comments please.

My dad has a 65 coronet 500 that he is pulling the original motor and replacing it with a 69 440. My question is......can we run the HP 440 exhaust manifolds or will we run into fitment issues? Also, one more question,.....even though the books say that bellhousing number 2468370 is for 10 1/2"...
