Hi , I am replacing the engine wiring harness i got from Year one
The new one has the leads to plug into a 4 post ballast resistor,
should or can I replace the 2 post one with the 4 post one?
What will happen any Ideas?

Yes its a hack job you're rite, I am going through whole car that is a possibility I might have to get a new harness
lots of other things not working or working lights, gages ect....

Bulkhead wire was bad I ran a new one directly to ignition switch through firewall.
I was thinking the original one split off to coil or something causing current issue
I am tracing through wiring diagram but car was messed with and lots of taped off wires
Maybe when they upgraded to electronic...

This was a issue with this car a long time the whole system was messed with.
The strange thing is all the things i changed so far were bad guess the melted harness arched or something
