    Today I installed the catch and the hood latching mechanism. We tried to take a picture of it, but our iPad did not have any flash. Plus it started to rain. So we will continue our build tomorrow.

    Friday after school my Papi took me to John’s Salvage to get some parts for my car. We got a battery tray, defroster duct, mini starter, carburetor and A/C-heater controls.

    I pulled the fuel tank by myself. It looked like someone had replaced it and the sending unit recently! I cleaned it and put evaporust gel on the rusted areas. I then painted the top with black semi-gloss Rustoleum paint to protect it from further oxidation.
