I had a 79 Cordoba with a mild 340 in it and 3:91 gears. Stock converter. Ran 14.76 @ RT66 in Joliet. Just like your draggy says.
I think you should be able to do better. My trans was on the way out.

I have to say that is one of the best looking Polara's I have ever seen !!!
Cool story as well
Thank you!
Its 1 out of 6 that I am hoarding.
My triple black 440 ragtop is kinda cool too...
When I was little. My dad had a car. But it wasn't just any car. It was a Mopar. It wasn't just any Mopar. It was a 71 Polara. Not a Fury. Not a Chrysler. The odd C body.
I fell in love. It was so damn cool. It was loud and smelly. It was big and mean. It left a permanent impression in my mind...
Yes. Sometimes I get an internal alarm that goes off and makes me go out of my way, or turn down a street I've never been on. 9 times out of 10...I find a new Mopar rotting away in a yard or driveway.
I really like some of their earlier stuff. Then in more recent years they went and started backing the DNC and started using their popularity to influence folks...thats when they lost me
I dont think they should outlaw it, this doesn't mean I support the look... I'm pretty sure the guys that are compelled to do this have extra chromosomes, an extremely low IQ, or their parents are siblings. Possibly all of the above.
Any law about what someone does or doesn't do to their own...
