30 years ago I was messing around with a mild 383 in my Coronet. .454 cam, torker intake, 750 Holley, 906 heads, headers, 3.91 gears. I kept adding spacers on top and with 2" of spacer on top of the torker it 60' and mph the best. We were really surprised a mild engine would like that best.
The change to attruo brand performance 17" tires on my fury vs the crap 15" I had was astounding. It's no sports car but wow.
And when I tried them on my charger for awhile the grip on clutch dump vs just spinning the bfg's was huge.
Yes below and not return less. I used the original vapor return line as a fuel return. The CA emissions stuff was handy for that as it returns it into the corner of the tank.
I wouldn't dead head these days. Or mount another on the frame. None of those in tank modules existed for our stuff...
