Ballpark estimate for the cost to do a 5.7 Hemi swap in a '70 Charger

A turbocharged 383 is fun. It's not cheap or simple tho. But rewarding. 392 cam in a 5.7 changes it's attitude some

Ballpark estimate for the cost to do a 5.7 Hemi swap in a '70 Charger

Computer and wiring you need to research carefully, what I've seen is OEM computer and hotwire harness isn't necessarily much cheaper than Holley and you get full control

Ballpark estimate for the cost to do a 5.7 Hemi swap in a '70 Charger

I've been researching aces efi and can't find much. There is some online feedback that they do not respond quickly or at all on their tech line. They have some great deals for retrofit tbi for the old engines if they are reputable

Ballpark estimate for the cost to do a 5.7 Hemi swap in a '70 Charger

Do you want ac? If not the eagle truck accessory drive is fine. Later one with electric ps if you don't have ps in that one. The carb intakes are rare and kill tq from the dynos I've seen, race only IMO.

I've had them for awhile and finally got them on 2 weeks back. Convinced my son to help me too so some bonding happened. I think it had cheap monroes on it before with HD bars and springs. It would float and wallow and hit the bump stops or rub the rear tires on big bumps. Now, it's not a...

Junkyard 5.7 hemi with 22-68% leak down, just rings?

I'm not opposed to one needing some work, I'm boosting it anyway so an excuse to go in and change the ring gap helps. Will be installing a 392 Cam as well. I suppose a new valve isn't bad, if that's it

Junkyard 5.7 hemi with 22-68% leak down, just rings?

I don't own it and have not seen it in person. It's a 2017 so was hoping valve seat wouldn't be an issue. Sounds like I need to ask them to scope it or leave it be.
