Anyone know this '69 Bee??? FOR SALE (NOT MINE)

Not mine... A buddy of mine might have interest in this car. Obviously it's on eBay as we speak. Some flags, especially with the fender tag. He doesn't really care about the numbers or pedigree because it's probably getting a large RB stroker and going to get driven HARD. Anyone recognize the...

Your thoughts on this 1970 V Code Super Bee for sale?

I hadn't...but I did now. Yeah, $40k is VERY spicy for what's there, but I don't think you can buy a V-code 'roller' for $15k anymore. Either way, I agree, that's going to be a strenuous restoration with how hard to find '70 parts are.

Your thoughts on this 1970 V Code Super Bee for sale?

Right or wrong, I think $40k is close to where it should be. I paid North of that for the Sublime car pictured. Pinion nut torque specs for 8 3/4 489

Using a dial type in lb. torque wrench, shoot for around 25in lbs. of rotating force or pre-load on the pinion bearings. This is the value to rotate the pinion shaft in the carrier housing WITHOUT the differential case/carrier present. Also, do not use the 'breakaway' torque value that's...

Watching Mecum tonight, and it;s official, collectors are cashing out!

Though that statement bears truth, be careful painting with a broad brush. My wife and I are fortunate enough to own a handful of 68-70 B-Bodies. They are all drivers and get driven. Almost all of the people that rave about the cars or ask if they are for sale are under the age of 40. Some are...
