My 440+6 has this horrible drone, drives me mad, it goes straight into my brains!!! It happens at lower RPM (can't say when since I don't have a tachometer) but driving around 30/40mph. I can certainly say it's not the exhaust since I snapped mufflers, drove with open header and even replaced...

Really? Just put them back empty then? I did that once and the noise was insane until they all gilled up. It was quite pleasant thought.

Fish them with a magnet trough the head.

No idea, but it's full! Had to remove the oil stick housing and had loads coming from the top.

Wow. This car shakes a bit in speed, maybe a bit too much. That's probably why. No idea for how long it's like that, i always check oil level.

Right, I'll try to cover ad much as I can: Tested fuel gauge straight to negative, it works fine going all the way up. There is a dedicated ground from chassi to fuel sender unit to make sure it has good ground. Sender if giving me the right range, 10 (or so) on full, 75 (well, 77) on...

Hi all, I thought my engine had a tapping sound and decided to give a go on the lifters. I removed all them, opened, cleaned, reassembled and submerged in oil and force it up and down to load it. Put it back and sounded louder. Improved by the time I was driving but I don't think it made any...
