I was able to get some free time over the holiday weekend and started blasting the front half of the car. Ordered the dp90 who knew a gallon is 500.00 now.
Hopefully over Christmas weekends I can finish blasting the front half of the car and get some color on it.
I learned to have paint and...
Here is when I smashed my hand between my ram trucks spring and upper spring mount when it fell off the jack.
And the last one is when I ran a spot weld bit through my finger when drilling spot welds on my satellites fender
After stripping the under coat off the back side of the fenders I was drilling out the spot welds to take the braces out to blast them and sent the spot drill through my finger little bit of a set back. Since I have finished blasting and restoring the front suspension and K member.

I came across a blog that was done years ago from a person that had a pink road runner. He posted out of a book that showed all of the cars produced for 1970 and the percentage of colors. Here is a screen capture I took of it. Based on the amount of convertibles produced and that .4 percent...
Spent some time this weekend restoring the front end. Had the k member powder coated. I sand blasters the control arms and painted them. Pressed out the old bushings and pressed in all new ones. Trying to get it ready to set the 392 on top to take up less room in the garage.
From some of my research for that paint code it is a 1 of 3 car based on being convertible and FC7 its a 318 car. But drivetrain is long gone I cleaned up the rusty reared. It still has its paint markings.
I have started my project I have been acquiring parts for the past 5 months and have now started the tear down. I have removed the upper cowl since it was in rough shape. I picked up a 2014 392 hemi for the car for 4,000.00 with 65,000 miles on it. Hopefully this weekend I will have the time to...
@RemCharger Mine is a satellite there were 529 Satellite convertibles total produced in 1970 out of those .4% were FC7 plum crazy. there were 525 produced with V8 engines which mine is a 318 car with a 727 automatic.
this is the point i am at with mine. i found out today my car is a 1 of 3 FC7 cars produced as a convertible so that is pretty cool. my full quarter panels arrived this week. I can now start that process.
