The column is tilt. Very much appreciated folks, so much to learn!! So right now the only thing I have not figured out is the cruise control. Not gonna worry bout it. I’ll try to attend a few Mopar gatherings this summer and I’m sure someone will point out my ignorance on it! lol!
Here we go
So it looks like they had three different plugs in use. All I can say is it seems that they had no idea what they were doing. I have found numerous things on the car that simply made no sense at all. I really appreciate all the help so far gents!
I didn't realize it until you mentioned it. The AC Delco plug looks like they were installed due to fouling. Some were the AC Delco 41-985's and the others were Autolite 25's. I guess they were battling oil issues as the mota was wore out.
Check out the photo enclosed. I don't remember these tabs being on my exhaust manifolds, but when I picked them up from getting them sand blasted, they were in a little plastic bag? No idea what they are for or where they go?
Also, when I took ownership of the car, the mota had AC Delco...
At long last I have an update worth mentioning! The Mota is finally complete. Time to pick it up and find some time to drop it in. It ends up as mentioned before the thing was already 30 over. It is now 60 over with one cylinder being sleeved. Hell of a deal. So, all new pistons, 9 valves, cam...
I figured I should give a little update on the progress of getting the SE back on the road. I have been waiting for my 440 to get to the top of the heap over at the local machine shop. I received a call last week that they had finally got to it and it will need a few things to get it healthy. I...
Purple Beeper, the one on flebay has the exact problem mine has. Maybe I’m missing something here. I’ll look at mine again. Could possibly be operator headspace!
Folks, I had a chance to do a little electrical troubleshooting yesterday and I now have all of my windows working! I went to button up the drivers door card(s) and when I went to put the electric window button piece into the door card I realized one end is missing the clip doohickeys. Not sure...
Yeah, that is my firewall and the grommet that should have the cruise control wires to the engine bay right above/beside the junction box has two wires coming through it, but it looks like they end up at the headlamp motor. I'm going to have another look today maybe and start removing a few...
So I went out and had another look this morning. Enclosed are a few pictures. The first one shows the grommet through the firewall at the location where the Cruise is supposed to go through? second is the connector right there and the other end goes into the harness. I find the black/red and...
So I just came in from the shop again and also searched the net a bit. The firewall pass through for the cruise is found to the right and up a bit of the main junction block. There are only two wires going through the grommet though. A blue/white and a black/yellow. Or, maybe it was a...
No sure if it is appropriate to bring up this old thread? I pretty much have everything working again in the car as far as electronics! But! I bring this thread up one more time as I still can't find the plug from the engine bay to the firewall? I see the pigtail from the brake pedal switch and...
