    I don't know how hot the coil should be but, I would think the cooler the better for the ignition coil. The aftermarket coil I had in actually boiled the oil inside the coil causing it to leak.     New brake rotors for 72 SSP - Anybody purchased from this company ???

    I had a hard time finding 72 rotors for my Satellite so I ended up getting the bigger diameter spindles to accommodate 73 and up rotors. Those look good. Just make sure you double check the measurement. Good luck.

    Had the same problem. Drove me nuts. Turns out it was the ignition coil getting too hot. I moved it from the intake mounting spot and put it on the firewall away from heat. Never happened again. Good luck!

    71/72 Satellite side chrome molding removal?

    Yep. Took mine off. There are studs that need to be ground down and holes that will need to be filled at the ends of the fenders and some at the roof. (if you have that trim too.) It sure makes it clean looking without the trim.
