I say that I had no leak prior to adding fluid btw. Think it was just low from installation. Also, I guess I should’ve added while running? Cause I had added it to the bottom of neck and after all the leak it’s still at neck

Took some pics, think I found leak. Looks like it’s coming from bottom of pump? I don’t see anywhere else, everything is clean. Also, this PS pump on this 66 charger engine has a vented cap, vs this aluminum looking one on mine. Is the vented needed? Also I guess PS fluid is just red cause it’s...

New to me 62 fury. Looked in the power steering pump and the fluid looked low, (new pump and lines) so I wanted to add some. Couldn’t tell what color it was, so I grabbed power steering fluid from local auto store. Filled it to bottom of neck…and now after driving it’s going everywhere and idk...

Received an original 4 barrel poly intake. It’s crusty but I think it’ll clean up fine. Gonna maybe blast it and prime it when I get closer. Spoke with Toth, ima try to get around to pulling the heads off this week coming, and get them off to him for rework.

Thanks everyone! I was able to get an original poly iron intake and an aluminum 7503 one (that needs some work). Great success!

Not much of an update…but got it out of the back of my truck LOL. Wife had surgery last Friday, so have been focused on that…but everything is fine. Got the kids to help me finally unload it and get it mounted on a stand. At first I thought I’d need a beefier stand…it was tilting…glad I bought...

Yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking. I had a crate motor (350) in an el Camino in high school. It would be 60 lbs cold and 15 hot, never found out why lol. You think I should try the 10w40 over the 15w50? I bought 10w30 but I can hold onto it or send it back.

My thinking is it isn’t too bad…so maybe just a 10w40 would help. Thin when cold for the startup protection but just slightly thicker at temp idle.

What you think of 15w50 or 10w40?

Thank you! It’s all original, even the paint…one day I’ll get the rust spots fixed but it’s just a couple bubbles. I like the 4 door for the family, I’ve had plenty of 2 doors and while really cool…idk having your kids get out easily at drop off and pick up is nicer imo . No AC or power...

I don’t mind the way it is now….but it does look like something my great aunt used to drive to the grocery store lol if ima put a poly stroker in it its gotta look a little more muscular going to the grocery store lol
