    In the year one catalog it shows a plate between the engine block and flywheel to protect the block in the event of a flywheel or clutch breaking and damaging the engine block. I'm sure that is only for high performance engines.

    I have a 1969 roadrunner 383 magnum 4speed manual i am bringing back to life. I need to know how much to torque the flywheel to the crankshaft and how much to torque the pressure plate to the flywheel. Also before i do this is a engine block safety plate required. Thanks
