how about how the 'dango did on handling? I've got a 2000 myself that i'm hoping to pull my satellite about 800 miles with and i'd like to do it safely but at a decent pace.
Thanks Ron, a previous owner painted it roughly 10 years ago, and i'm pretty partial to it. It's even still got the seventies cues too, like the shag carpet up below the rear window, and a set of Hi-Jackers in the rear haha. As for Afghanistan, I hope so too. That place sucks.
Been a member for a bit, just never got around to posting up in here. I bought my hugger orange 73 Satellite right after i got back from Afghanistan in February, I'm posted up in fort bragg at the moment, but Indiana is technically home, or at least where it's garaged at the moment lol.
i had the same problem, and i happened upon a site that sold the lower portion behind the wheels if that helps. They sell several body parts for old school mopars and they're pretty reasonably priced too.

I just picked up a 73 Satellite with a bone stock 318 and 727. What i'm considering is dropping the B series 400 i have into it with the appropriate 727 behind it, and after poking around the engine bay a bit (this is my first b body, and only my second mopar so still figuring some stuff out)...
