That's what I thought.
Any recommendation on who to buy them from?
I need a driver floor pan also.
I already replaced the trunk floor and gas tank.
Thanks guys
I have a 1970 Super Bee that has some rust in the quarters.
Since they do not make full quarters for my car, my question is should I buy the quarter skins and replace the whole side or cut out what I need and patch it in?
The car is not that bad, it needs a little on top of the fender, small...
It is so easy to remove the axles I think I might just clean and repack the bearings and see how it works. Before I took it apart the driver side had a little play in and out and the passenger side was pretty tight.
Thanks for the replies. Meep the outer rings are very loose and have no grease at all and yes they made plenty of noise. This is a car that I am restoring and has been off the road for 15 years. Maybe I should just repack them and reinstall and see how it sounds. I assumed that the bearings were...
I took my axles out today. Both of the bearings are shot. I have read about the green bearings which I plan to use but have a couple of questions. The old bearings and the stop ring have to come off. Do the new bearings come with the stop ring? The area that the bearing rides on is not in the...
My front end is terrible. Everything is loose and worn out. I was thinking of buying one of the kits on ebay. Rubber or poly? Any kits recomended? Looks like they are about $220.00 for everything. Thanks
Are you talking about the gasket on the firewall? That's the only one I see besides the boot that fits around the shaft. Looks like mine is leaking right out of the cylinder. I took it off and it has some rust in the cylinder wall on the end by the firewall. I may just buy a kit, rebuild it and...
I have a 70 Bee that I am working on. All original 383 4 speed, drum brakes. The master cylinder is leaking. Should I buy a new one or rebuild mine? Normally I would just go buy one, but with this car being all # matching, not sure if it makes any difference?
Choke works fine, It just doesn't quite go far enough to disengage when it's warm. I will try bending the rod a little to get it to open all the way. Thanks for the help. Sorry for the double post, I messed up!
I have a Carb that is rebuilt and like new for my 70 383 Super Bee. It works perfect except that it wants to stay on the last high idle setting. I can push the lever down with my finger and it idles just right, but as soon as I give it gas it goes back up. The choke flap is staying about 1/4...
I have these buckets in my 70 Bee and was wondering what did they come out of? I know they are not original for my car but I would like to know the correct model and year if possible. I need a bench seat for mine! Thanks Sorry can't seem to post pic, maybe later.
