Had to look at Ragheads move a couple of times lol The 71 Cuda grew on me after having one for 16 years starting in 86. Wasn't too crazy about the Sassy Grass and the white billboard and gut but the colors grew on me too....except for the gut but the price was also too good to pass it up. Glad...

    Motorcode

The first 7 numbers is just the casting number the the 7 is how many times the mold was used. IIRC, the numbers that have more meaning are on the left front of the block just below the head gasket parting line.

What would you pay for a 72?

Have you purchased this car yet? Imo, 3800 is way too much for it. I bought a 96 Dakota for 2500 a few years ago where the guy was asking 3500 and it wasn't selling. Probably could have got it a bit cheaper because he jumped on the offer. It was on CL and he never did lower the price but think...

    LS swap ?

The 360 produces decent torque since it's a longer stroke and is an easy transplant since it's the same design as the teen.....and 42 more cubes ain't too bad of a transplant.

    LS swap ?

Go to top of the page and click the 'watch' button. When you do, a box will open and then click on the 'and receive email notifications' button. Whenever someone comments, I get a ding on my phone that I have an email and can take a look. And I wouldn't worry about a numbers matching car that...

    LS swap ?

I'm not too keen on the way it looks either. And well, if I can make a 72 318 Demon with 115k miles go 13.50 in the 1/4, just think about the 'other' possibilities with other high mileage (for the time) small and big blocks.....both being old skool.....!

    Rear sway bar advice

The K in my 66 Belvedere is 32 lbs with mods and still uses the stock steering box mount and engine mount stands but they are modified. Have another K that's 26 lbs but there's no stock engine mount stands. The engine will have to use Effellant ears with the 26 pounder.
