Hi fellas,
For some time now I have been selling economically or giving parts to other members here. I'm getting older and realize I can't build everything I dreamed of so, the part divesture. I recently sent off a steering column to a member for his grandsons' restoration and received this...
An old friend of mine asked if I could resurrect his Shelby intake system for a 302 Ford engine. I said yes!
He purchased this new in the box over 40 years ago and only put 25 miles on it when new and then it sat. These were a "over the counter" item from Ford in 1966. It's a whole lot of...
Just wanted to remind you fellas to be more careful than I was when using tools. Last Sunday I spent 3+hrs in the local ER getting my hand patched up. I was cutting out spot welds on a fender and got too comfortable with the operation when I slipped off the weld. I went right into the web...
I highly recommend McC for any type of hardware. Pricing is fair and delivery is amazing. I am in midMichigan and the warehouse is near Chicago and my orders are delivered the next day!

Well, I was about 4 miles from home this morning, on the way to my yearly "wellness check" when I smacked a deer. This makes #8 in my life-so far. I was in my winter beater (2008 T&C) and the plastic facia is busted up pretty good and I have a large dent in the drivers door. I do purchase...
Rolled rib roast, mashed red skin spuds and gravy, Yorkshire pudding, carrots from our garden, fruit salad, and apple and pecan pies for later! Yum.

I'm smoking 2 big pork butts and 2 whole chickens today, in the cold storage garage (it's raining). I'm hosting a "pot luck reunion" Saturday for my HS graduating classmates. 55 years. Making pulled pork and chicken salad.

In between wiring today I managed to smoke 3 pork butts in 6 hours time. We'll cool and freeze 2 and finish the other one in the crock pot tomorrow night. Check out the smoke ring. Also had time to smoke hot dogs for lunch and I have baked beans in the smoker for tonight's meal.

A week and one half ago a member named Jerry offered his magazine collection for $1.00 and I accepted. Now, I can't find his contact info. Can anyone help me. He lives in midMichigan.

When distance of delivery becomes too far for our members perhaps we could work out a chain delivery system among ourselves to assist others? Not a speedy service mind you, but an eventual delivery of desired parts. Kinda like buying from Amazon! A map of travel routes could be worked out so...
The "what did you work on today other than your car" thread is too far back in the files so I thought I would start another, similar thread. I built a replacement stand for a friend that he picked up yesterday. The original Cabela's stand with feeder assy was backed into by a dozer and cobbled...
Today I gave a check to our local charitable foundation. I assumed I would be reimbursed with stimulus money. Who knows now? I wanted to help people with rent, food, clothing, etc.. Gave them $1,000.00. It still feels good.

Hi fellas,
I have a older, good 12 volt Porter Cable drill kit (2 batteries-rebuilt) but, my charger died and I can't find another. Can I use a Battery Tender Junior to recharge my battery packs? I would rewire the old charger case to adapt the battery to the Tender. The OEM charger is rated 1.6...
