Anybody have experience with pulling the heads with the engine still in the car. Any challenges or problems to be aware of. I suspect I might have some worn valve guides
and am considering pulling the heads to get some work done, but don't really want to pull the engine out of the car.
What Make or Model car would you never own? For me, there are several:
1. Subaru - hate the name, too much of an environmental lefty image for me.
2. Kia - are you kidding me, there is no damn way I'm owning something called a Kia.
3. Hyundai - nope, no way I'm going Korean. Besides, pisses...
I have a brand new 402 oil pan for sale for $150. Its never been on a car. I bought it and then decided to use a 6 quart pan instead.
I also have a used 187 pan that I will sell for $50 and comes with the correct oil pick up tube (some small dings in the 187 pan).

I want to put some front bumperettes on my 1970 Charger.....just think they look kind of cool. Problem is the 1970 front bumper guards have the little strip of rubber running down the middle which I don't like. I'm wondering if any knows if the 1969 front bumper guards would work on a 1970...
Just wondering if anyone out there has tried putting 16 inch wheels on a 2nd generation Charger? 295/50R16 will get me an extra inch of height over the 295/50R15. I like the wider 50, but also want the taller height.
Thinking about installing a 5 speed transmission in my 70 Charger. Just wondering if anyone has ever tried this and how much modification is required? Thinking about a 5 speed Tremec. Any recommendations on who makes a good gear box for mostly street driving?

I bought a new upper bezel to replace the one on my 4 speed shifter in my 70 Charger. Problem is, I don't know how to get the old one off. I don't see any screws, set screws, pins or anything. Does anyone know how to remove the upper bezel from the shifter arm?
