    I put a march serpentine belt kit on my 440. With this kit you have to remove the mechanical fuel pump to make room for the alternator. After switching to a 60 gph electric this happens. Under hard acceleration after going In to 2nd gear around 4500 rpm it just falls on its face like it ran out...

    Drain back

    So I'm trying to tie up my loose ends on my 440 install. One of my problems is that after sitting for a day it takes forever to get fuel up to the carb. I have a new mechanical fuel pump,new carb and fuel lines. Any suggestions?
