I bought the Edelbrock 800 AVS-2 for my 68 440 RT. What I thought was really strange was when I took it out of the box the F/A mixture screws were backed out as far as they would go and the accelerator pump was on the top hole. I have purchased Edelbrocks before and never seen a carb set up...

Looking to purchase a Wood-Fiber Laminate carb spacer. There is two I'm looking at but not sure which is the better one. The first one is a 4 hole spacer and the other is a open spacer. I have a Eddy Performer RPM intake with a Eddy 750 Performer carb. Has anyone tried one or both ?
