I am curious about what the factory fitted. I think it must have been a Carter but which one? What would be closest to it if I can't get a rebuilt one? Edelbrock 1406?

New Year: new problem.
My electric fuel pump was installed upside-down when I got the car and very noisy. Also, the filter never seemed full of fuel despite the pump and filter being mounted below the level of the fuel tank bottom.

1978 Monaco 360 engine.
Mopar Performance Cam 4452761.
Summit Racing Carb SUM-M08600VS. 600cfm
Distributor Pertronix PNX-D141701.
Coil Pertronix PNX-45001.
and a Mallory 140 Comp Pump in the trunk that is mounted upside down for Heaven's Sake! No idea why the PO fitted it this way...
