I've heard it over and over that a 440 4bbl is just as fast or faster than a Six Pack. I find that hard to believe. When the A12's came out in mid 69, they ran C. I had a 440 GTX and ran E. My car was tuned and maintained by one of the Mopar gurus. I could not keep up let alone pass a Six Pack...
My 69 440 Six Pack was running great then all of a sudden, it started missing under load. Idle and revving in neutral is fine. As soon as I put it in Drive, it starts to miss. I checked the wires and did a vacuum test. Everything fine there. Suggestions?
I know there are two different versions: one for a Hemi and one for a 440 Six Pack. The 440 version has a slightly longer mounting bracket. Are they interchangeable?
Not sure if this is the right forum for this but here goes.
I'm installing a Six Pack on my 69 GTX automatic. I need the rod of the 3 piece kick down linkage that goes down in front of the firewall. I know I can buy the complete linkage for $350 but that's pricey when all I need is this one...
