Was watching Roadworthy Rescues and he mentioned a product that was a coating that was clear.....haven't ever seen something like that but could you actually take a clear that's made for spraying and wipe it on? I know he likes to wipe on his own concoction of stuff so thinking that's what he...
I'm not a fan but like white even less. Back in late 2000 I found a 97 2500 Dodge diesel and well, the red was already dead and starting to lift but man, it sure ran good. It was the best running used diesel pickup I had driven and had driven many and still have it today.

Little bit of a large read and don't feel shy about adding to it!
When iron or steel starts to rust, it will puff up and expose clean metal to the open air, allowing rust to continue to the depths of the metal. If your favorite possession is...
about 20 days inside a fairly dry shop room. Should I do another treatment before painting? I don't see any rust accumulation......also, I'm planning on using epoxy primer for the next step. Destructions say to test a spot. Anyone done this with good results?
I know this has been answered in another thread I started but the subject matter of that thread was about using fillers on drive line parts and would like for this to be beneficial for others and not just me and the ones that read that thread. Thanks!
I want to do some smoothing on an 8 3/4 and am wondering how fillers do on things that get hot. Also, if it's ok to use fillers on this stuff, would it be better to apply a couple of coats of epoxy primer first or the filler then primer all of it? The rough pitted areas will be sand blasted 1st.
Bought a new fender for my daughter's PT Cruiser and it's painted black. I assume this is a cheap primer? I don't have much experience with paint but have done some touch up work and redid a dash in an old pickup. The car still wears the original base/clear and am thinking of doing that on the...
I think someone mentioned this awhile back but haven't been able to find the thread after doing several searches. Anyways, I removed all the paint from my car years ago and then sprayed primer on most of the car which is actually pretty much still there. It will be removed before a reprime...
Just got done with the 2000 paper...should I go with 2500 for best results or am I ready for the buffer and polish? Been some years back the last time I did this and had some polish that finished it up pretty nice but can't remember what it was now and don't remember if I went to the 2500. I...
