    Im putting fresh emblems on my hood scoop. NOS 340 Four Barrel emblems. Any tips for starting the acorn nut? I know you twist it on and thus cut in the threads. Should I start the threads with the emblem off the car or while they are in their spot? Reason I ask is because the scoop internals...

    Emblem change, removing resin

    I went to change out my hood emblems and noticed that the posts of the current ones have been resined in to the backside of the scoop. Any suggestions for how to best remove the resin without damaging the scoop?
