i bought new letters for hood '67 charger a number of years ago. don't know how to put them on.
there is a plastic sleeve on tips. does it stay on or not? if it stays on i will have to drill holes bigger.
if it comes off do i fasten letters on with push nuts? no threads on points.
thank you, bruce
i don't remember how these fit or attach. the stainless steel moulding under grill to crossframe and c-chrome around parking lite.
did i do something wrong? pictures are from underneath and orange ear plug shows hole in crossmember. c- chrome is as tight as possible.
it's has been years since I remove trim and i don't remember how it goes on and of course i didn't take enough pictures.
are there clips on pinch weld from door all the way to end of fender or is there other fasteners at the door end?
from the door forward do use plastic clips and then bolts...
'67 charger with vinyl top. i broke chrome trim trying to get it to fit. i tried ford metal epoxy but didn't hold on this thin metal(cast?). any ideas on how to fix or where to buy one?
'67 charger. been years since I took it all apart. I couldn't fine any pics. of them in parts books or shop manual. I think they go in grill some where. I couldn't find any pics. of where all the splash guards go either.
'67 charger. I can't find a source for the lower panel seal , that goes between trunk and bumper. and the lower moulding below grille. anyone know of a source? there on page 23-12 and 23-46 of service manual.
thanks, bruce
'67 charger hood chrome . anyone had any luck reattaching theses brackets? can a small machine bolt be welded on bracket missing it? I don't have a spot welder.
1967 charger ready to put weatherstrip on trunk. any helpful pointers? I don't understand the instructions in manual where it shows the joint - is there a 1/4" overlap or space? I have a tube of the 3m weatherstrip adhesive and the weather strip is supersoft brand.
thanks
1967 charger, got rear window in over weekend. shop manual says to put sealer between gasket and metal as last step. do you fill the entire gap between the 2??
1 mistake I made was too much sealer in glass groove. had to clean a lot of sealer off glass after in.
'67 charger. it has been years since I took rear window out. I bought new weatherstrip and molding clips. the vinyl top covers up the holes for clip screws. do I just use punch to find holes? how many clips on each side of window and how does the molding attach to clips???
I don't have trim on yet. but appears like there should not be this gap between door and vent window. I had light in door to show gap better. what did I do wrong. thanks, charger10
dent went through stainless. one welder said to weld with tig would probably distort the metal. any ideas? trim is next to left door window 1967 charger
