I'm going to be removing my old race car MAXIMVS graphics...

I'm going to be removing my old race car MAXIMVS graphics... and it's killing me to do it. The 21 year old base coat clear coat is failing. The MAXIMVS graphics are a work of art done by D&S graphics in Honeybrook PA in gold leaf. I hate to obliterate this work. Has anyone heard of a way to...

Exterior trim speed nut rubber seals

I'm putting the car (66 Coronet) back together and my existing seals are shot. These rubber seals slide over the pillar trim speed nut posts on the trim pieces. I've searched to no avail and may be forced to use some butyl in their place. Any ideas? snook

I've got the glass out but it looks like the pass and drivers side frame may be removable. Has anyone done this or knows if it's removable? It's not in the manual that I can see. snook

Oh the joy in removing door & quarter glass along with 54 year old felts and weatherstripping

Wasn't as bad as I was expecting but the weatherstripping was a PITA. The desert is not kind to soft goods but got the job done. I'm going with Steele Rubber stuff on the rebuild and boy they are proud of it. Oh well, if I'm going to do it, may as well make the best of it as much as possible...
