I've read several different articles on installation of the windshield and am a bit confused (easily done) regarding the gasket. Is the gasket installed to the body first or to the windshield first.

Is there a trick to getting the body line "crisper". The door was damaged above and below the line as well as the section show suffered damage. I've got it really close working from the inside and outside the door. I'm using the metal to metal type of body filler.
