What do you guys think? Besides leaky the valve covers..
Plugs are autolite 85s. I also forgot I had my ridiculous rich at idle edlebrock with these plugs before I put a QuickFuel on.
I kinda feel like an idiot.. Adjusted my Lokar Kickdown Cable following the instruction from this article http://www.hotrod.com/articles/the-lowdown-on-stock-torqueflite-kick-down-linkage/

I was tinkering with my Lokar kickdown linkage last night (picture is not mine, information purposes) and noticed while the Kickdown Carb Body Fitting detached and the kickdown cable loose, the ferrule is detached from the kickdown cable adjuster and has a free range of movement. Is that correct...
Of all the stroker kits out there for the 400 block, pricing looks at most +/- $500 between all the manufactures.

Couple things up in the air with my satellite. First, I've got what looks to be a mild rear main leak and I'm also looking at rebushing the front end, changing out for larger t-bars, and frame connectors.
So, I'm kinda at a crossroad. Do I pull the engine and transmission to seal up the rear...
Recently replaced an Edelbrock Carb with a Quick Fuel SS680. I'm using the Quick Fuel carb base gasket that came in the box. I'm getting a whoosh sound under hard acceleration that wasn't there before.

I do have a US Radiator 4 Core and it's not an original...

Fired up, ran it twice. Re-tighten all bolts while warm..Still leaks out of at least 4 bolts :eusa_doh:
I used Permatex #2 and thought i used enough on the threads. Apparently not.
I've heard pipe dope, teflon tape, permatex...
I recently had a set of 516 heads re-done and was in the process of installing them over the weekend, got it all finished and cranked it over and couldn't get any oil pressure to my gauge.
So off went the driver side valve cover for closer inspection, I'm a fool for thinking it was going to...

I've been fight a bit of valvetrain noise for a while, I've isolated the sound from the passenger side. Initial thought was a bad lifter not pumping up, so ran the engine with out the cover. Noise was still there, so that ruled out the rockers hitting the baffles. While running the lifters...
