I currently have an Edelbrock Performer 383 intake and am considering swapping to a RPM Air Gap. My engine is a 383 stroked to 496 ci with 440 source kit, Edelbrock RPM heads (60925), Comp cam 230/236 .541/.537 lift (23-711-9), Holley Street Avenger 770 cfm.

Looking for help on the transmission linkage on 440 six pack. Currently this linkage hits the bottom of the air cleaner base and the kickdow. seems to always be engaged. The transmission will not go into 3rd gear until 55+ mph, and if you barely touch the throttle pedal it will kick down to 2nd...
The 383 in my Charger ate up my v-belt. In looking closer I realized the power steering pump pulley is about 1/4” off from the water pump and crank pulleys. Vintage Air was installed by the PO and I’m not sure if that is why there is a L shaped mounting bracket (homemade?) for the power steering...
