Guys, just got my 4 speed in and got in a test run today for a short. I have the eddie 2x4 intake with 2 600 cfms on her. I have the rear one coming in first and she spitts and sputters pretty bad. Once the other carb comes in, everything is goooooood. Might run both together all the time or any...
I have just found out that my crank shaft has 8 bolts in the rear flange. I am, or was, pulling out a 727 and putting in a Brewers 4 speed. Their flywheel, as with all others I am told, only have 6. Anyone know what the deal might be with the crank? Industrial engine, stroked freak motor, built...
Hey, I have decided to for-go the doe and put the white ball in the floor. Good with Brewers expertese and should be just putting one foot in front of the other till done. Is there anything to watch out for or something that might throw a curve in this adventure?I will be removing a 1965 push...
Heres my story. Have a 727 behind a 426 with an eddie 28 so that the 2 600 afb's are lined up. Has a purple cam hydrolic, alum heads, mopar performance dist. MSD ignition.
The reason I describe everything is that this is a fresh rebuild from what was a max wedge, and prior to the motor rebuild...
I have a 1963 cast intake and heads I just removed from a rebuilt 426. Decided to go aluminum heads and intake. Would like to sell them rather than store it for years.
I am building a 426 Wedge with 11.5 compression. I will have a 2 - 4 set up with headers. What is a good street cam that will get the most out of the motor without taking away streetability. Thanks for your imput.
I just pulled my wedge down to see what was in her, since she has never ran good. I found a degreed cam set at +2. Do you just hit and miss at this or is there a way to know why you set it at a particular setting? The cam has purple on her and the number 260022 on the back of the cam. Anyone...
I have a 64 Belv with a 426 wedge. She is new all over. Pulled one of the weber carbs to check for gummed or wore out or something, and it is like the rest of the car, new. An old mopar man told me about 9 things it could be, but when he told me that it could be the torque converter I seem to...
Guys, wanting a complete package or piece together a 4 speed for my 64 Belvedere, 426 Wedge. Anyone know where I should look? Keisler sells a replacement 5 speed for a 4 speed set up but I'm 727 now. Any ideas what to do or where to start. Thanks
