I ended up disassembling my 500 stroker to replace the rear main seal. (I got heave handed with sealer and I couldn’t get the upper to come free and push out). The motor only has a couple hundred miles on it.
I found out my #7 rod bearing is toast and I have odd wear on my mains too...

Did a 500ci B block build. The only thing left from the original motor is the block. Roller cam with hyd roller lifters, roller rockers and 440 source stealth heads.
Got it to fire up and run for about a minute and it stalled out.

I’m assembling a set of 440 Source roller rockers and I’m not sure what the proper clearance is between the rocker arms and the hold down.
What should I be looking for when I shim them up and put them together?

I went a head and bought the 440 source timing chain set up and I can’t get it to slide onto the crank shaft.
I tried boiling it and it still won’t slide on
Can I use a timing gear tool and a hammer?

I have a set of 440 source stealth heads and I was hoping to run the set of Proform 66868 rocker arms but they appear to be a bit short on the valve stem.
Any suggestions? I would like to stay 1.5 ratio, roller tip, and I don’t want to break the bank?
