Hi, I have everything in place for my rebuilt transmission. But the flex plate is about 1/2" away from the torque converter. The torque converter is all the way back in the transmission. Can it be pulled up 1/2"? Thanks@

I am running HD stock rockers with RPM heads. The preload I am getting is .072. I have Lunati cam and lifters. Lunati states should be .020 to .060. can I run them at .072? Can I use .030 shims? I've already spent a lot of $ on this car. Options? Thanks!

It appears my cam bolts barley scrape the aftermarket cam cover. I saw someone using alloy steel button hex bolts. These definitely would work! From what I have read Alloy Steel should be about grade 8. Would these still need a washer?

Just bought a new Melling M-63HV oil pump. I was reading how it should be cleaned and lubed with Vaseline? I have a new cam with break in oil. Will the Vaseline mess with the break in process?? I thought about just using break in lube instead of the Vaseline. Any ideas? Thanks!
