I've got a 1967 Charger and found a 360 w/auto trans from a 2000 Ram 2500 locally. Price wise, it's acceptable (I think) and the Charger sadly is still a shell so I have room for modifications if needed. Best I can find, it would be a 46RE. I've found good and bad feedback on the forums here...
After my 440 fiasco, I've found a 318 from a 1999 Durango for my 1967 Charger. The idea of a newer style (fuel injection) appeals to me as my main focus is a daily driver with good gas mileage. I can get the engine harness, computer, and all. As far as the block itself, I don't see any issues...
I've been scouring my new(to me) 440 engine and can't find the numbers. I've looked on the pad opposite the distributor and I don't see any engraving. I found an RB stamp on the front passenger side of block and a blank flat plate on the passenger side of the block and nothing on the driver...
