Stupid me!!! I just got my '64 383 block back from the machine shop and I can't remember if there are supposed to be locator pins for the heads. If so ... which holes do they go in?
I have an opportunity to pickup a 69 Hemi block with a stock bore, crank and rods and main bearing caps. The owner indicates the block is free from any cracks or damage.
I won't be putting this in my Polara but perhaps I can find a different car to install it in.

With respect to the oil pump there are 3 to choose from ... standard volume ... high volume ... high pressure. I'm leaning towards the standard volume (of course)...
