I attended the Mopar show at the Gilmore Museum yesterday. I do not own a cell phone so, no photos. I helped a couple unload a custom-built trike shortly after arriving and parking (385 out of 448 entries). I saw it pull in and spotted something different about the engine so I had to...
Can anyone share tube removal tricks? It's in the 3.8 V-6 I'm rebuilding and in good condition. I lathed out a driver but, it won't budge, just flares out the bottom end. Thanks fellas.

Hi fellas,
Has anyone here tried a Hubb oil filter? They are a tad pricey but, new engines are too.

Hi fellas,
I just purchased a new rear clutch piston return spring and it resulted in .080" of slop in the assembly. In lieu of a new A&A thicker piston can anyone see anything wrong with machining a ring style spacer to position the piston up in the retainer to eliminate the excess slop? It...
Hi fellas,
I'm changing my oil and got to thinking if I'm running the proper amount of oil. I have a Milodon 30930 pan (7 quart) and I also have a 3 quart Moroso accumulator. I have been using 10 quarts but, should I figure 6 quarts in the pan to perhaps cut windage loss as I have the 3 quart...
I just read about the new cross bolt main caps from Milodon. Talk about a slick design. I don't have a link but, it shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Hi fellas,
I'm thinking about selling some 8 3/4 pigs. Most rebuilt but I have a used 3.23 Sure Grip 7260 yoke. Would 250 be a fair price? I drove the car it came in so I know it's good.

PS: After a closer look I realized it is used but, I went thru it, repairing/replacing as was necessary...
Hi fellas,
The previous post got me thinking about the factory tool for burnishing. Does anyone have one? Or can anyone tell me the diameter of the ball section? It looks like a lathe project for me!

Hi fellas,
The vent itself is leaking gear oil right out the cap and of course all over the housing, shock, and fuel tank.
I have had it out twice and Teflon taped the threads (seems OK), and cut small plugs out of porous foam to insert in the bolt bore-with no luck.
Lube level is below the...
I need a oil filter adapter plate gasket for my 65 318 (poly) and all I can find (70078 Fel-Pro) is a o-ring. I'm sure it takes a flat gasket in the recess in the block side. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Hi fellas,
I am rebuilding a (unknown core) 1968 727 B for a customer and it had a modified valve body installed. I would like to contact the builder to obtain trans specs.

Does anyone here know what I have????????????

Hi fellas,
I've welded half couplings and pipe plugged several housings with good results but on my NEW 65 Coronet I was thinking about drilling and tapping for a 1/8" plug. I do not want to weld on a greasy housing and bake a bunch of crud on the inside. Has anyone here tried the drill and tap...
Hi fellas,
I am a diehard 8 3/4" fan, so I went to the fabricated Moser axle housing. It is a real nice piece but, I also ordered it with a back brace (why not spend an extra $150). My mistake was forgetting I had moved the springs inboard. The U bolts didn't clear the brace and the shocks sure...
