Installed new gearbox and pump and new lines on my 69’ bee. Can I vacuum fill the system before start up? As in pull vacuum on the return port on the box and through the pressure line and pump keeping the fluid level in the reservoir above the pump. Planned to use a length of hose connected to...

It does not match the flare at all in fact the only...

Ok so I’m dropping the drivetrain out of the 69’ bee and down to torsion bars and k bolts.

So I was looking at the size of the bars and kinda think I should move up to .920 bars
in place of the .900 or should...
what are the pros and cons of each fluid in our vintage rides? I'm converting from drum to discs on the front of the bee and have a new master with a 15/16" bore it's a manual setup. Will be changing all lines and hoses just wonder which type fluid to go with before bench bleeding the master.
need to replace the input and output seals that's straight forward but I also
have a leaking oring on the input shaft housing cap. Is there any thing more than just removing the cap and replace the oring and reinstall?
I was under the bee yesterday working on pulling my steering gear and noticed the ends of the torsion key adjusters are rubbing the inside of the frame rails where the clearance notch for them is. Anyone have an idea why? The suspension as far as I can tell has never been rebuilt it's a 69
bee...
