    I know nothing about ABS, especially the early ones, not sure what's going on, when you turn on the key, ABS unit hums, which is normal i think, but, occasionally, it sound like plastic gears tearing? hard brake pedal, very little brakes to stop car, enough I wont drive it. I have been told...

    guess what I just got !!

    well, it took a while, but finally losing the 8 1/4 2:73 ( ?) open carrier, and have my 8 3/4 3:55 sure grip !! wooo hooo.., but gonna miss cruizing at 70 mph @ 2000 rpm, but, i just might get to 70 a bit quicker now ! now the question is.. what do i do with the 8 1/4 ???

    vacuum pump advise??

    so, just got new heads and cam installed, now ,very low on vacuum,, so... hard brake pedal, I added a vacuum reservoir , helps, but not great, any advice on electric vacuum pumps?? price ?? reliability ?? any input is appreciated !
