    Steering coupler help

    Apparently, I'm missing the metal bracket thing on my steering coupler. The rubber boot keeps sliding up the shaft. Is this going to be an issue? Can I just wrap some electrical tape to keep it from sliding up? Here's some pictures of what I'm talking about

    Steering shaft moves in and out

    While sitting in the car, I can pull the steering wheel towards me about an inch or so. The whole shaft moves. All the way to the gear box. I haven't taken it apart as I'm hoping it's something easily fixable. Would anybody know what the issue would be? It's not a column shift if that makes...
