Replace gearbox and my steering wheel is slightly off, does this get an alignment?

Hello, I just replaced the gearbox and the wheel is slightly off, like by a tooth. You think where the steering box connects to the steering wheel off a tooth? The pitman arm off (I don't think so, only 4 ways it goes on), or the steering wheel itself? Or could an alignment fix this? Thanks!

    Good stock power steering box?

Do you know if a name brand that has a good stock box? Napa perhaps? I need something ASAP. I'll even pay a little more for a better box if it's in stock Firm Feel is super busy at the moment. I saw a Lares, or BBB at Rock Auto of anyone is familiar with them? I've only heard to stay...

Is there a common leaking point for firm feel steering boxes?

I've only had this box for about a year, and it worked great, then something blew. I thought it's was just a line, but the lines are dry, and it's just pouring out. Hoping for a simple fix of course. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Changed Master Cylinder and no longer have power brakes...

Yes, I have my share of issues... I put in new brake lines, and master cylinder. Holds brake pressure, when I start the car, the pedal does sink (no not to the floor). However, it seems when I drive there is no power brakes. Brakes work, but it kind of rolls to stop rather than before where it...

Where are you guys buying brake rotors/calipers?

I just bought some rotors for my 1972 Satellite from Classic Industries and I swear they are machined 1/4" to long. The cotter pin almost fits but the nut is also too tight, so the rotor won't spin. . Also the with the bearing "kit" the seal was to small for the rotor. I had to find one at...

Hearing loud banging under heavy acceleration...

Looked under car and found this... (Not cool) I assume this is telling me j need new springs. My car does sit rather low. Is there a way to keep it sitting low with new springs? SS springs or heavy duty springs will increase ride height correct? Thanks!

Can I identify front disk rotor size without rotor removal? 1972 SSP

Rather than removing my front rotor is there a way to identify its size? I have a 1972 Satellite SSP with a 400. Seems just to make life complicated, it came with 2 different size front rotors. I'd rather not remove the bearings and all that just to measure the rotor size. I have measured the...

Is there a common cause for no rear brakes and brake light on?

This is for a 72 Satellite. Front brakes work great, but no rear brakes and the brake light is on, in the dash. Is there a common cause for this? Reservoir in the master cylinder is full, I tried to bleed them and nothing. Hoping this is something simple, but it never is. Thanks!

What does a shop charge for front end rebuild?

I was quoted $2500.00 - $3000.00! This seems high. They did state that all the parts all get powder coated, includes the alignment... and it includes some part that is mostly missed by shops that is Mopar related (whatever that is?) They said the use Moog parts, that they acquire of course, for...

Removed power steering; Do I need to plug holes?

Hello, I took off the power steering and air conditioning completely. Since I needed new brackets I just left the Power steering off. I haven't driven it yet, but should the nipples on the steering column be plugged? Is there anything bad about driving it the way it is for awhile? Also the air...
