Ok where the steering column connects to the gear box, I have 2 brackets (for a lack of a better word) and between them there is a rubber bushing with 4 wedge shaped metal pieces built in to the rubber, where the bolts go through.
Anybody know what this bushing is called?

I am looking at my service manual and the one thing I cannot find is how to remove the thing, but it tellings me how to rebuild the thing.
So how do you remove the sucker?
I was tired and got a little careless and broke the drivers side bracket, the one that connects the sway bar to the frame right next to the radiator.
Well I have looked at Yearone and Dante's and cannot find them, anybody know where else to look?
I am rebuilding by back drum brakes on my 73 charger and I have not done a drum brake in over 20yrs.
So any tips or tricks to make this an easier process?
Just thought I would pass on what I found when I replaced my M/C, Booster and front pads and rotors.
1) on the replacement booster, the bolt pattern and size were different than the one on the car, new one was metric and did not come with bolts.
2) M/C did not come with bleeders and got...
There is a big bushing w/bolt going through it, connecting the main frame rails with the forward frame rails, both are falling apart.
Can anybody tell me the name of the bushings?
Anybody sell a complete on near complete bushing kit?
